Tenuta Corbinaia Wedding | Sam and Wendy’s Cinematic Matrimonio in Tuscany

Sam and Wendy’s wedding at Tenuta Corbinaia was everything you imagine when you think of a modern Italian celebration. Set in the Tuscan hills near Florence, this venue combines classic Italian elegance with a contemporary atmosphere that suited their style perfectly.

As destination wedding videographers in Italy, we knew this day would be special. Sam and Wendy aren’t just a couple, they’re creators who understand storytelling. Their wedding at Tenuta Corbinaia was emotional, stylish, and full of personality.

Cinematic wedding film Italy – Getting Ready at Tenuta Corbinaia

The morning started inside the villa’s elegant suites. Wendy got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids in soft natural light, while Sam prepared in another wing of the property with his closest friends. Every room in Tenuta Corbinaia has character: arched windows, stone details, and views of the Tuscan landscape that feel cinematic without trying.

We filmed the preparations before the day unfolded. The quiet looks, the laughter, the small moments between family and friends that always tell the real story.

The Ceremony in the Gardens | Matrimonio Sam and Wendy

The ceremony took place in the garden overlooking rolling vineyards and cypress trees. Guests gathered under the late afternoon sun while a live string quartet played softly in the background.

The setting captured what makes Tuscany weddings so special: open space, timeless light, and that feeling of being somewhere truly Italian.

As Sam waited for Wendy to walk down the aisle, the emotion in the air was real and unscripted. When she arrived, the entire crowd fell silent. For us, moments like this are the heart of cinematic wedding videography, authentic and full of depth.

Aperitivo and Dinner at Tenuta Corbinaia

After the ceremony, guests moved to the infinity pool  for aperitivo. Golden light washed over the villa’s stone walls while drinks and canapés made their way around the crowd. The sound of laughter mixed with live jazz, and the scene felt like something from a film.

Dinner was served under a canopy of lights in the villa’s Crystal room. Long tables, elegant decor, and Tuscan food made from local produce created the perfect balance of simplicity and luxury. As the speeches began, emotion took over again. You could feel how much this day meant to everyone present.

The Party in the Fireplace and Red Rooms

As dinner ended, guests moved inside to continue the celebration in Tenuta Corbinaia’s Fireplace and Red Rooms. The shift from open air to candlelit interiors changed the mood completely. Warm lighting, rich red tones, and the energy of a people dancing made the atmosphere feel intimate and cinematic.

Halfway through the night, Wendy surprised everyone with a dramatic change of look, she cut her long hair into a short bob before the party behgan. The reaction was electric. The entire room erupted as Sam saw her for the first time with her new haircut. It was spontaneous, bold, and completely her. A perfect moment to capture on film.

it was the perfect ending to a day built on emotion and authenticity.

Why Tenuta Corbinaia Is Perfect for Cinematic Weddings

As Italian wedding videographers, we’ve worked at many venues across Tuscany, but Tenuta Corbinaia stands out. It’s private, elegant, and built for celebrations that feel both modern and timeless. The villa’s mix of stone architecture and open terraces gives the film a natural cinematic quality.

It’s no surprise that Sam and Wendy chose this location for their matrimonio in Toscana. It reflects who they are: stylish, expressive, and connected to Italy’s creative spirit.
